Image assets
Image media assets is used to reuse photo files in photo editing, image-to-image, video reference and multistep creation. For official business, use the stable public network URL, which is stored by the client; MoonApiX OSS uploads only for joint testing, without guaranteeing long-term preservation or continued availability.
Status and model availability
asset_id / asset_ref in an asset response are MoonApiX asset identity and reference values. They are not external service asset IDs. status=ready means that MoonApiX has established the asset identity and content baseline. storage.status=ready means that a verified hosted copy is currently accessible. Neither status alone means that a generation model can use the asset.
For a generation model that requires preparation, pass the target model when querying the asset and inspect its preparation object. In normal cases, require preparation.status=ready or not_required together with preparation.generation_ready=true. generation_ready is a point-in-time availability judgment for the current model and calling scope; it does not change normal scheduling or guarantee immediate execution. The service validates the reference again before generation. See Query assets for the field definitions and legacy mappings.
Creation, hosting and model preparation are independent operations. Creating an asset does not attach it to later image or video tasks; each task must explicitly provide a public URL or a model-supported Asset://asset_xxx reference.

- Picture editing and hybrid maps can be used directly as public URLs or uploaded as hosting URLs.
- Multiple re-uses of pictures suggest the preservation of media assets ID, URL, filename and use.
- After the user deletes media assets, the synchronous side should update the reference status and avoid continuing to submit invalid URLs.
